Every time I leave a place, I remember that I always return to You, God. So don't ever leave me
0 Sun, Do not be ashamed of me, for my tears are larger than this lake and smaller than a mole on the chest of a little girl before the shrapnel tore her apart.
The sun presses down on everyone except me. Above my head, a cloud drifts, carrying the shadow of my father.
Nine months have slipped away… War stands at the edge of birth. If it bears a son, I shall call him Ruin. But if it bears a daughter, I shall call her Curse.

Mohammed Al-Qudwa

A Palestinian writer born and raised in Gaza City. His work draws inspiration from the details and experiences of everyday life. He studies software engineering at the faculty of engineering, balancing between the academic and creative worlds. He has facilitated creative writing workshops in collaboration with cultural institutions such as the Tamer Institute for Community Education in Gaza and the Arab Digital Expression Foundation (ADEF) in Egypt. He is currently working on a literary project with “Passage transfestival, TDB (CDN), Nest (CDN) theaters across France.
His first novel "The Final Destination" was published in 2022.
