Three seasons and a body

Three seasons and a body

Mohammed Alqudwa
When war broke out, Mohammed was five, eight, twelve, fifteen, then eighteen years old. Five wars marked his youth in Gaza, the last of which is still ongoing. The studious student of yesteryear is also a high-level karateka, and a poet. A poet who puts into words the unspeakable reality of a daily life struck by bombs, of a humanitarian corridor that is anything but humane, of a hope whose foundations remain to be rebuilt. Through the accuracy of his words and movements, Mohammed questions our most precious assets: our identity and our collective memory.
